Imagine with me an alliance of ministers working together for community transformation. A partnership where Jesus Christ is given headship and leaders work together based upon common vision and submission to Christ. Where leaders from a city or region, who have a desire to build God’s Kingdom, are connected to leaders from other cities or regions through a relational network, for strategic communication and planning, to enable the development and equipping of God’s kingdom. This network allows them to share what they sense God wants to do and collaborate with one another in relation to areas of common concern. At the same time they all remain free to choose what they connect with because it is not a denomination. The alliance is among leaders who then involve the people God has given them care for, as they are led of the Lord, because communication is handled between leaders and not through a data base that connects with individuals that would bypass their local pastor.
In this alliance honoring one another would be the priority. Leaders would look for opportunities to benefit and strengthen one another rather than having an underlying desire to build their own thing. In multi-church events no ministries individual agenda would be shared without the agreement of the other leaders before hand and a Christ like standard of character would be expected. Though shifting of individuals throughout the Body of Christ does happen and is at times the will of God for the continued development of His plan, it is not a practice that is ever encouraged by leaders trying to draw someone else’s sheep to themselves or hire other ministries co-laborers. The goal of the alliance is to build one another up and the attitude of function would be to lay one’s life down for their brother, not ask their brother to layer their life down for them.
If these thoughts connect with what’s in your heart then maybe you should consider connecting with A.C.T.
